Lilienthal 2.0

Anbei ein paar Bilder von einem etwas aus der Zeit gefallenen Projekt. Der aerodynamischen Vermessung eines orginallen Lilienthal Gleiters. Ein erster Schritt, will man solch einen Gleiter irgendwann einmal von größeren Höhen fliegen.

Some pics from a very interesting project. Checking the aerodynamic messurments of a copy from a Otto Lilienthal glider. The original model was made quite a while ago and the copy uses old materials as far as possible. They even tried to reconstruct the old woven wing material made on old maschines again.
